Hi, today, I am going to tell you about today’s reading activity. This week, our school is celebrating Literacy Week. Today, the whole school ( including middle school and high school) had an activity called Buddy Reading. Today, I read with the KG-2, Amira. I read a book for her called The Teddy Bear. It is about a boy who lost a teddy bear he loved, and a bearded man found the teddy bear.
Hi, today, I will tell you about my self reflection I made. Here’s a paragraph about it.
In 4th grade this year, the habits I do well are; asks questions, turned in work on time, communicates with teachers and parents, and participates in classes. The habits I do sometimes are; self-advocates, uses planners, follows directions, does careful work, uses class time productively, and exhibits self control. The habits I need to improve are; work well in groups, work well independently, study, and problem solving. I feel appreciating towards the school because everyone here is so kind and all the subjects are fun and interesting. Things that really help my life at school are all the staff and teachers helping me out when I need some help. Things that hindireing my school life are my homework because when my friends invite me to play with them after school and I haven’t finished my homework, I always choose playing and then, I have to do the homeworks I left, on weekends.
Hi, today, I’m going to tell you about fossils at UAE. First of all, does UAE have fossils? The answer is….yes! UAE do have fossils. At first, I couldn’t be believe it. Actually, UAE has the finest location to find Middle East latest fossils. In the west of UAE, scientist found a skull of alligator which was about 8 million years old. They also found lower jaw of hippopotamus. From these research, they found out that in old days, this place could have been a river.
I found out that fossils can tell us about how the landscape was in many years ago. I found these information in: uaeinteract.com

Hello, today, I am going to tell you about my fantasy story I wrote for my writing assignment. Now, I will tell you my story’s summary.
The story is called “Mary’s Adventure in Fairy Land”, and it it is about an ordinary girl called Mary, opening the trigger (An entrance to fantasy world) window, and landing on a fantasy world, Fairy Land! She meets the guide Crayony, and go off to the adventure to stop the villain the Witch, from erasing all the colors from all the world! They go around the land through the stone guard, who throws the magic stones to you, which would make anyone become a stone, and bunnpire, an animal combined with vampire and bunny. Here’s a small part of my story I wrote:
Once there was a girl named Mary. She was an ordinary 10 years old girl. Mary had sweet brown hair, big bright brown eyes, and a snowy skin. She loved cute things like stuffed animals, but mostly, she just LOVED drawing. Every time Mary was bored, she drew. Almost every day, she wore an apron which matched her sweet pink dress. One morning, her mom shouted “Wake up!” just like every morning. Mary woke up smelling her mom’s delicious breakfast. It was sweet waffles and a crumbled egg. Mary opened the window in her bedroom. The bedroom was giant with lot of books, papers, and lots of art supplies. As she opened her window, BOOM! Mary was in another world she never knew.

Hi, today, I am going to tell you about my 1st field trip in Gr.4, Crossroads of Civilization Museum. There was so many artifacts that I never saw in my life until now, and they were very old and amazing! Here’s the picture: My favorite artifact was dagger ( sword ) for Crimean War in 1854. The dagger had beautiful design every where which makes you keep staring at it non stop. It was created by Simpson William in Greece. The purpose of this artifacts was to fight for the war because there wasn’t any gun powder invented. The manager Mr. Ahmad, told us that this museum was made out of clay and was the biggest museum in Dubai. It really was so big. We ate yummy sandwich and yummy chocolate cake! After we had a little recess and running around, we went for a little walk to see around the creek and the souk. There was so many pigeons flying around us trying to welcome us. We had so much fun that I was too tired to talk to my friends in the bus. We had a great first field trip to start!
Hi, today, I’m going to tell you about my class’s Halloween party! Our school celebrate Halloween so we had to wear a costume. This year, I became a devil! Our class did so many activities with my friend Amina’s class, Ms. Ryan’s class. We did so many games together like ‘musical chair’, ‘mummies’, where we roll a toilet paper to a person so that they become mummies. Anyway, we had an amazing Halloween that might become a HISTORICAL Halloween party ever! We had lot of junks like chips, candies, cakes, but my favorite was brownies! It was so sweet that my cheek was about to fall off my face and ran away! I thought it was the best Halloween party in the world!
