MIDDLE SCHOOL FRINGE FESTIVAL: February 28, 2018 – by Cris Mejia

UAS is a great community to be a part of, for this reason I am inviting you to attend the 2nd annual Middle School Fringe Festival on Wednesday, February 28th from 5 to 7 PM.  On this festive evening, we will come together as a community through art, food, creativity and quality time!

Fringe means alternative, unconventional. This will be a festival of art, music, dance, drama, miming, storytelling, or whatever you can think of, this is what the fringe will become. The performers will be all of us, actually, a combination of us: families, students, teachers, and support staff, all coming together from across the campus to perform, or to watch, and enjoy!  The performance/staging area will be located between the Middle School office and the cafeteria. The performances will be happening simultaneously and will include comedy routines, dancing, singing and playing of instruments. All the shows, just like street art, will have donation hats placed in front of the performers in order to raise money for our Million Solar Stars Program.

Thank you so much for supporting the UAS Middle School Arts program – Cris
