It was a perfect day for Track and Field and wonderful way to end first semester! Thank you to our incredible PE Department for organizing a fun filled day. Please enjoy a few highlights from the day.

Arabic Innovation Exhibition

The MPH was buzzing with excitement this afternoon as many of our middle school Arabic Language students took part in the Arabic Innovation Exhibition. Groups of students looked at issues such as personal safety, group safety, health, cleanliness, conflicts and more in an attempt to bring innovation and change to our world. Presentations and demonstrations were given in both Arabic and English. They were proud to share their thoughts and ideas. Congratulations!

Welcome Back – Uniform Reminders

Happy New Year 2016. We hope everyone had a terrific winter holiday. It is great to see all of the smiling faces back at school.

With the start of 2016, we would like to remind students of some important expectations involving uniforms.

Sunday – Wednesday
Students are expected to wear the official UAS school uniform to school. Shirts and hoodies need to have the UAS Logo. Pants need to be plain blue. PE shirts and shorts are only to be worn in PE.

Thursday
Students may wear UAS team sport, UAS Music or UAS Club hoodies. They may also wear their UAS PE uniform.

Students will be checked for appropriate uniforms during homeroom. If a student is out of uniform, they will be sent to the office to call home. Their parent may either bring in the appropriate clothing or the parent may give permission for their child to go to the school store to purchase the appropriate uniform needed.

We appreciate your support in this area.

Thank you!
