## Unit 4, Decimals

Do you know what decimals are? Decimals are numbers but a part of a number. In other words, the point is just to separate the whole number with a part of a number like 2.34 the decimal point is a separator for the parts and wholes. the wholes are on the left and the parts are on the right. In other words, decimals are just fractions. but fractions with an end of 10 or 100 or 1000. So like 3.4 is in other words 3 4/10. Decimals can be infinite. Decimals are also just a number but you can make it an infinite number of keep adding zero to the end because zero has no value so you can make the number as long as you want.

Decimals are fun. Decimal is a challenge. You can even sort out decimals like 3.3 or 3.31 which one is bigger. It is 3.31 because the 1 is bigger than zero looks 3.30 or 3.31 so 3.31 is bigger. Decimals are also used for money like, I have 3.31 dollars or it can also be a measurement like it is 3.31 meters long.

Decimal is a number with a whole and a part of a number. Decimals are fun to play with but I still want to know how to learn on how to make myself better in decimals.

## Math Unit 3

In math unit 3 was the most funnest and best unit every. In math unit 3 we learned about primes, composite,  open numbers sentences in division and multiplication, and algebra. The reason why I love math unit 3 is because there are things I did not learn before, so I always love a challenge. I always love something over level and something that is new for me, like algebra or prime and composite.

I enjoyed the unit 3 math lessons because they put me in the level that challenges me and gives me time to think and lets me try things I never did before. I found out that algebra is not that hard, it is just some letter to show a number like 20+50 =h . The algebra letters has to stand for something like r for rain. I found it difficult to do the primes because I have to find a number with only 2 factors 1 and itself like 11 is a prime because it has two factors 1 and itself 11.

In unit 3 math I learned about prime, composite , algebra , open number sentences in division and multiplication and even improved my multiplication. But I can always learn more and soon I will be at my best.

## Trimester 1 Math Reflection

Hi Readers Today I am doing my

Trimester 1 Math Reflection

hope you enjoy.

3 things I have learned in math this trimester are:

1.I learned that polygons are a shape that has 3 or more sides and that polygons have to have straight lines and have to all connect to each other lines.

2.Graphs. I learned the graph titles for the y-axis and the x-axis. I also learned that graphs are a difference of others.

1. I learned Perpendicular lines, and perpendicular lines are lines that make 90º angles

2 feelings I have about math are:

1. I love math because I get to learn things that I did not know, and I love math because there is always a challenge in math.

2.I feel bored if I have no challenges and I have to learn what I already know.

1 piece of work that I think shows something I worked hard at is:

1.Addition and subtraction, because I want to show my family that I can pass an obstacle and that I can show I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it.
