Week of June 16th
We are gliding into the homestretch of the school year, and busy as ever! Students have been putting incredible effort into their MAP assessments and are doing an outstanding job! Please make sure your child returns any outstanding library books by Sunday, or you will be charged. When the students return we will be starting to wind down our school year so with that said students will be having end of year assessments. If you plan to have your child leave earlier than June 27, please notify the teacher.
Students will have the opportunity to apply some of the things they have learned about fractions to contexts involving number lines, division, and data collection.
How can we show what we understand about fractions?
How can we locate fractions on a number line?
How can we recognize equivalent fractions?
How can we compare two fractions?
