Week of February 10, 2019
Good afternoon. At last, our MAP tests are done and we’ve worked hard to do our best. Sunday is a day off so enjoy your day and we’ll see the kids bright and early Monday morning.
Here is a look at our learning for next week.
How can I show how to solve one digit multiplication facts?
What are different ways to show fractions?
IXL skills: E, F, G, H
IXL skills W1-W10
Students continue to read nonfiction text and ask:
How can I identify the main idea and details in a nonfiction text?
How can I have engaging conversations and grow ideas about what I’m reading?
How can I prepare for publishing my writing?
How can I use text features to help improve my writing?
How can edit and revise my writing?
How can I teach kindergarteners and first graders about force and motion while they are playing my game?
How is magnetism a form of energy?
Planning and preparing for the Grade 3 Carnival!
What forces and motion can be seen in my game?
Looking for parent volunteers to help out on the morning of the carnival (Monday, February 18th) – Please respond on Class Dojo if you can. Parents we can’t pull this off without you. We need your help.
Thanks in advance.
