In PreK and KG1

In KG2

In Grade 4 and 5

  • I can identify structural elements of fiction ( character, plot, setting, narrative order, points of view)
  • I can describe how illustrations impact a story
  • I understand the steps to take when collaborating with a classmate
  • I can upload and publish my story

Library week beginning 4th December

As we have a three day week, all classes have a 2o minute book exchange slot this week!

Don’t forget to come join us at the Book fair, running Tuesday – Thursday. parents are welcome at any time!

Book Fair 4th-6th December

A reminder that next week we have our BookWorm Book fair from 4-6th December. A wonderful opportunity to buy books ahead of the holidays! Classes will be visiting with their teacher and parents are welcome to visit at anytime. We look forward to seeing you there!

Library week beginning 18th November

In KG1 and PreK

  • I can begin to recognise rhyming words and predict what the rhyming word might be
  • I can take turns in conversation and respond to a story with comments and actions
  • I can follow actions and create sounds related to the story
  • I can join in with a song related to a story

In KG2

  • I can make a browser card.
  • I understand why it is important to use a browser card

In Grade 3

As we have only three teaching days in school this week, it is a ‘check out’ week for all classes PreK-Grade 5. All classes have been allotted a slot even if they would miss their regular class on Wednesday or Thursday.

Library week beginning 4th November

In PreK and KG1

In KG2

In Grade 1

In Grade 2

Library week beginning 28th October
